An elderly man was confirmed dead on Jan. 29, and an elderly woman died this week, the outlet reports.

Both had suffered serious burns and were being treated at Temple University Hospital’s burn center.

Flames consumed a 2.5-story home on the 4900 block of Beaver Dam Road when fire crews arrived around 4 a.m. on Jan. 23, the Levittown Fire Company said.

"E-14 first arriving, securing own water supply, leading off with 1 3/4 water line. Rescue 13 arrived going into service with ladders and ventilation, opening up on the roof," the fire department said.

"Remaining first alarm assignments in service with second water line and extensive overhaul."

The fire was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes.
